Recycle Mobile Phones For Cash

Recycle Mobile Phones For Cash

Did you know that your mobile phone can be a source of extra spending money? And did you know that it requires barely any effort on your part to access this extra cash? All you have to do is recycle your mobile phone for cash. Thanks to today's ever-improving technology, mobile phones are becoming more advanced seemingly by the day. This means that current mobile phones are becoming obsolete quickly. Many mobile phone users, then, upgrade their mobiles on a regular basis. It's easy to see why. Today's new mobile phones are filled with new features, applications and communications tools. They make outdated mobile phones look barely better than a landline phone. The problem is that too many cell phone users have no idea what to do with their old, unwanted mobile phones. Many are passing up an opportunity to earn a few extra dollars.Dollars for your old cell phone. What do most people do when they purchase a new cell phone? They simply dump their old phones in a desk drawer or the trash. This is not smart. For one thing, it's not environmentally friendly to trash your old mobile phone. It will simply end up as one more piece of unwanted technology clogging up a landfill.Secondly, by simply ignoring your old mobile phones, you're passing up the opportunity to get some quick cash.Several companies today will offer you money for your unwanted mobile phone. And the good news is that the process of recycling your old mobile phone is an extremely easy one.How recycling your mobile works. The first step is to find a private company that recycles unwanted and outdated mobile phones. This is a simple task. Just run an Internet search. You'll quickly discover that there are dozens of companies out there that will gladly take your old mobile phones off your hands. The next step is to find the company that you like best. You might want to shop around a bit. While one company may give you a low amount for your old mobile phone, another might be far more generous. You'll never know, though, unless you're willing to spend the time to do some online comparison shopping.Once you've selected a company with which you are comfortable, simply find your brand of cell phone on its Web site, click on it and wait for the company's financial offer. If you're pleased with the amount of cash you'll receive for trading in your mobile phone, accept the offer. If you're not, move on to another company that recycles mobile phones. After you accept an offer, the company will more than likely send you a padded envelope.Once that arrives, simply put your old cell phone in it and mail it back. Before long, you'll be opening another envelope, this one containing a check.Quick cash in tough times.Turning in your cell phone for quick cash makes even more sense today.Unemployment is soaring. The economy is in a full-blown recession. And more jobs are being slashed every day.Money, then, is tough to come by.It makes no financial sense to let an unwanted mobile phone sit unused in your desk drawer.Instead, turn that mobile phone into cash.Remember, you'll be doing good not only for your own wallet, but for the environment, too.The only way to prevent more mobile phones from ending up in landfills is to boost the number of them that are recycled each year. The odds are good that even more companies will get into the mobile phone recycling business in the coming years. This is good news for both the environment and for your bank account.

4.0 out of 5 stars Swiss Army Knife Family Printer, September 23, 2011

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?)
I've had Epson printers for about 10 years. They can provide years of brilliant photo quality prints, but can also be painfully frustrating. Time will tell how this new printer fits on that continuum.
This thing is huge. It takes up almost twice as much real estate as my Brother 2270 laser. The duplexer hanging off the back adds about 4 inches to the depth.
It has lots of surprising bells and whistles. Whether you need all that is up to you. More on that later.

The wireless setup was the best I've seen. Turn it on, it detects the network. Enter your SSID right on the panel, and your done. After that, setup on both XP and W7 machines went without a hitch.
The color printing by Epson is excellent. It makes Dye Sub printers just about obsolete. These'Claria' inks are dye based, but are supposed to have great UV resistance. I'll leave a photo in the Sun and let you know in 20 years.
Initial tests on photo printing are astounding. I use Kirkland Glossy Photo... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome upgrade from HP - Apple IOS users READ THIS!!, September 11, 2011

TRUE AIRPRINT COMPATIBILITY:

Bought this printer today. So far so GREAT! Opened the box to find a yellow sheet titled: "Attention AirPrint Users". It then explains that to enable AirPrint capability install the latest firmware available from Epson's website. My first though was "WOW", I thought only HP printers had this capability. So OK, I'll bite. I installed the printer on MAC OSX Lion without any problems at all. Flawless. So then the firmware upgrade. This part always makes me a little nervous but the Epson step-by-step instructions were very clear. Firmware upgrade take about 10-15 minutes and remember DON'T turn it off or unplug it during this process. Once the firmware was upgraded I went to an email on my iPhone, clicked the AirPrint button, then Print, and EPSON Airtisan 730 shows up, along with a selector for the number of copies, and single/double sided (on/off). I hit Print and sure enough out comes my complete email. I then check Safari and iBooks... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Photos, Easy Set-Up, October 1, 2011

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?)
Advisory: I did not test every feature of this printer. I will update review when I have tested printing from an SD card and a USB drive. I do not have Smart Phone so will not be testing Airprint feature. Not sure if I will be testing the CD printing feature.

Pros:

*Set-up was a piece of cake. I had to use the printer's interface to set up the wireless as I did not have the right size USB cable, but printer found my network without a problem. I have a Netgear router & Dell Inspiron Laptop running Vista.) Entering the password was somewhat like texting on my mobile phone but I had no issues. I was printing within 30 minutes after I began opening the box.
*Black text printing looks good. Very fast.
*Scanner worked fine; no problem.
*Photos were astounding!!! Printer uses 6 ink cartridges which probably accounts for the vivid colors. I printed 3 photos right after set-up using glossy photo paper. One photo was from a low-resolution file... Read more

Increasing Environmental Awareness and Recycling Mobile Phones

Increasing Environmental Awareness and Recycling Mobile Phones

It is always a great thing to contribute positively to the environment and it feels good when you recycle something, especially an electronic device, rather than contributing to the already huge landfills.Mobile phones are one of the most popular electronic devices that you can find being used in the UK today and as a result, many are made redundant when they are still in perfect working order simply because a new model has been released. As a result, it was inevitable that environmental initiatives would be put in place which allowed for them to be recycled and disposed of properly and there are now many companies and charities that will take your old mobile phones as a donation and either recycle or pass on your phone to those less fortunate. You might start wondering about how you can benefit from recycling your mobile phone now that you know what the options are. When people first started recycling phones they gave them up freely without getting anything in return as this was really the only option other than throwing them in the bin and today you can still do this by giving your phone to charity. You can of course be paid to recycle your old mobile phone but often the benefits of giving to charity outweigh the few pounds you'll get from sending it to a private company. The condition of the used mobile phone will determine what you can do with it as many charities won't have a use for a broken mobile phone. However, if your phone is broken it is worth contacting a company that will get some use out of it anyway, or at the very least operate an environmental initiative that disposes of it in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. These companies are often able to reuse certain parts when refurbishing old phones or as spares for those phones which need repairing. As part of Corporate Social Responsibility schemes, your company may be able to help you dispose correctly of everything from mobile phones and computers, to paper and printer ink cartridges so with so much environmental awareness in every local community, there really is no excuse to throw anything that can be harmful into the bin.So now you need to ask yourself what effort it would take to recycle your old mobile phones and realise that the answer is very little and the results of your actions could be huge.
